Te Whanganui-A-Hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve and Shakespeare Cliff Scenic and Historic Reserve are located in the Coromandel region of New Zealand's North Island. The Marine Reserve features a stunning coastline with crystal-clear waters and a unique geological formation known as Cathedral Cove. The Shakespeare Cliff Scenic and Historic Reserve offers panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding islands.

There is no admission fee to visit the reserves, and they are open year-round, 24 hours a day. However, visitors are advised to check the tide times before visiting Cathedral Cove as the beach can be inaccessible during high tide.

To access Cathedral Cove, visitors can either hike for approximately 45 minutes from the car park at Hahei Beach or take a boat tour from nearby Whitianga. Boat tours are available from several operators and generally depart in the morning and afternoon.

In addition to exploring the reserves, visitors can also enjoy the nearby town of Whitianga, which offers a range of accommodation, dining, and shopping options. Other nearby attractions include Hot Water Beach, where visitors can dig their own hot pools in the sand, and the Kuaotunu Peninsula, which offers beautiful beaches and scenic drives.
